Michael Hoff is President & Executive Producer of Hoff Productions. An Emmy-award winning producer, writer, and director for more than 30 years, Hoff’s proven successes in creating highly-rated programming includes History Channel’s “Detroit Steel,” Complex Networks’ “Chef Jeremiah Forks It,” Science Channel’s “What Could Possibly Go Wrong,” NBCSN’s “ Mobsteel,” National Geographic Wild’s “Animals Gone Wild,” Animal Planet’s “Weird, True & Freaky,” National Geographic Channel’s “Hooked: Monster Fish,” Investigation Discovery’s “ Extreme Forensics,” and WEtv’s “Chain Gang Girls.”
Since launching Hoff Productions in 1993, Hoff and his team have developed and produced a thousand hours of programming for dozens of broadcast and cable networks including History, Discovery, Science, NBCS, National Geographic Channel, Animal Planet, Complex Networks, Investigation Discovery, WEtv, Weather Channel, Fine Living Network, Military Channel, FOX, TLC, TruTV, Discovery Health Channel, TV One, Travel Channel, PBS, Speed Channel, NGC Wild and HGTV.
Hoff marks his time teaching radio and television production in West Africa as the transformative event that focused him towards pursuing his dream of making factual television. The experience inspired Hoff to develop and produce impactful and entertaining shows about real people. Hoff continued his career at San Francisco’s CBS affiliate KPIX-TV. As the Executive Producer of Evening Magazine and Show Producer of Mac & Mutley, Hoff established the foundation that would launch his independent production business.
